Saratov State Medical University is a large and reputable center of medical studies in Russia recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO). The best specialists of the industry are working in the University – academicians, honored scientists, distinguished professors of medicine.

The University consists of 9 faculties: Faculty of General Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medical Prophylaxis, Faculty of Pediatrics, Faculty of Clinical Psychology, International Students Department, Institute of Advanced Medical Training and Continuing Education, Institute of Nursing.
Nowadays the continuous system of the education includes the pre-university training, undergraduate studies for future doctors, pharmacists, clinical psychologists, health managers, postgraduate studies, clinical residency, PhD and continuing education.
Graduates receive a state-recognized diploma, after graduation from the University, indicating higher education and specifying of the degree/qualification and speciality. A graduate, if needed, can get an additional document – “Diploma Supplement”, which allows to obtain the equivalence of a diploma in any country in the world for continuing education or employment.
Graduates receive internationally recognized ‘Diploma of Higher Education’ bearing the details of the awarded degree or qualification along with the specialization. Graduate also can receive a Diploma Supplement, which makes it possible to obtain equivalence in foreign countries for further studies or employment.
For the period of studies all the students are provided with places for living in comfortable students’ hostels situated closely to educational buildings. Near the hostels there are sport clubs, cafes, a university library – everything to make leisure and studies interesting and
